Back in March our childhood church was having their annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival, which includes an art show, and The Sister and I were asked to enter. While the pieces that I entered did not sell, it was still a fun experience, as well as being my first time exhibiting. Plus, there was some nice art to take in.
My older sister whose art is varied and whimsical. She can be found featured as PoppyART via Facebook (@Poppyart.etsy or just searching PoppyART) and Instagram (@poppyartstudio). Her art can be purchased via Etsy (PoppyART).
This is a group of long-term family friends, whose artistic abilities stem from the matriarch, my god-mother. Her daughter who is my age, Maria, was the oldest Englert representing at the art show. I have followed through by age with the pieces. Her neice, Mary, then Mary’s younger sisters, and finally Mary’s boyfriend, because he’s an honorary Englert by proxy.
He had a few pieces in the show and came by to retreive them at the end of the night. He seemed like a pretty swell guy, and I did like a few of his pieces.
These are the pieces that I included in the art show.
